Police arrested a 29-year-old driver and booked him at Yakima County Jail, awaiting prosecution.

Yakima, WA. – A 28-year-old man was killed in a pedestrian accident on Friday morning in Yakima, according to the Yakima Police Department.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened around 1:40 p.m. on October 17, in the 100 block of South 2nd Street.
Police said they found the 28-year-old man in the parking lot after being hit by a car.
Responding medical personnel and police performed lifesaving measures on the man, but the pedestrian succumbed at the scene.
