Humboldt County, NV. – A child was killed in a car crash that left several people injured near Winnemucca in Humboldt County on Sunday morning.

According to the Nevada State Police, Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 95 near mile marker 5 at around 6:20 a.m.

A white Toyota Camry was traveling southbound when it crossed into the northbound lane and collided with a silver Ford F-150, towing a utility trailer.

A third car, a silver Nissan Armada, was damaged by debris from the crash.

The driver and passenger of the Toyota were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The driver of the Ford and two children riding in the truck were also taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

Sadly, one of the children died while receiving treatment.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
