Two female passengers in a ride share were killed in the collision
Drexel Heights, AZ. – Three people were killed and three others were injured Saturday night in a two-vehicle collision near Drexel Heights, according to the Arizona DPS.
The fatal collision happened on October 11 at the intersection of Old Ajo Way and Ajo Highway.
DPS said two vehicles were involved in the collision.
Two female passengers in a ride share were killed in the collision. A teenager in the other vehicle was also killed in the accident.
Three people were taken to a trauma center in Tucson for treatment.
The collision closed the eastbound lanes of Ajo Highway.
The collision remains under investigation.
