Evansville, IN. – An 83-year-old woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday morning in Evansville.
According to the Evansville Police Department, the crash happened on I-69 and Boonville -New Harmony Road at around 5 a.m.
A black Pontiac sports car driven by an 83-year-old woman was traveling northbound on I-69 when it ended up underneath the semi heading north.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
