Eureka County, NV. – A 47-year-old woman was killed in a car crash on Monday evening in Eureka County.
According to the Nevada State Police, the crash happened at State Route 306 and I-80 at around 9 p.m.
A Kia Optima traveling northbound failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the roadway to the right, traveled through a right-of-way fence, and furrowed in, which caused it to overturn.
The 47-year-old driver succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday.
The police suspect speed and impairment as factors.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
