Eric Gardner Dies After Motorcycle Collision on Fabyan Parkway

Geneva, IL. – 40-year-old Eric Gardner has been identified as the rider killed in a traffic collision on Sunday morning in Geneva, according to the Kane County Coroner’s Office.

The accident happened at around 6:30 a.m. July 13 on Fabyan Parkway between Wenmoth and Kaneville roads.

Authorities said Gardner of Sycamore was riding his motorcycle westbound on Fabyan Parkway when he veered across the eastbound lanes, between Wenmoth and Kaneville roads and struck an embankment.

Gardner was declared dead at the scene.

Officials said toxicology results are pending.

An investigation by Geneva police, the Kane County Coroner’s Office and the Kane County Accident Reconstruction Team is ongoing.
