Elkhart County, IN. – A man was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident early Saturday morning in Elkhart County.
According to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened on Old U.S. 33 near State Route 19 at around 1 a.m.
The 30-year-old South Bend man was riding a 2024 Kawasaki motorcycle when he lost control and struck a dumpster.
The motorcyclist was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
