The Mishawaka man was ejected and was transported to Memorial Hospital in South Bend

Elkhart County, IN. – A man was critically injured in a motorcycle accident on Friday evening in Elkhart County.
According to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 4 p.m. on Ash Road south of Jefferson Boulevard.
A northbound 2005 Harley-Davidson motorcycle struck the rear of a 2021 Audi SQ5 that had stopped in traffic.
The 24-year-old Mishawaka man was ejected and was transported to Memorial Hospital in South Bend with life-threatening injuries.
The 26-year-old Mishawaka man driving the car was wearing a seatbelt and was not hurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
