Elkhart County, IN. – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a collision early Saturday morning in Elkhart County.

According to local police, the accident happened around 2:40 a.m. at the intersection of County Road 35 and County Road 4.

A 17-year-old was driving a car eastbound on County Road 4 when she ran a stop sign and drove into a tree line.

A passenger in the car was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
