Two drivers involved in the initial crash were transported to the hospital with injuries

Elkhart County, IN. – Two people were injured in a crash involving four vehicles on Tuesday morning in Elkhart County.
According to local police, the crash happened near the intersection of County Road 2 and County Road 37 at around 5:30 a.m.
An 8-year-old was driving a vehicle eastbound on CR 2 when he crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Jeep.
A third vehicle, driven by a 62-year-old man, stopped near the scene of the crash.
A short time later, a Buick traveling westbound on CR 2 struck the rear of the Jeep.
The crash impact caused the Jeep to hit an 18-year-old exiting the car.
Two drivers involved in the initial crash were transported to the hospital with injuries.
