Troopers said a man was heading north on the highway in a Nissan Titan when he tried to turn left into a rest area and he failed to yield to southbound traffic and his Nissan crashed into a southbound Honda Passport.

Portland, OR. – An 82-year-old Oregon woman was killed after a two-vehicle accident on Friday afternoon in Deschutes County, according to the Oregon State Police.
The accident occurred a while before 12:45 p.m. on June 5, on Highway 97 near milepost 113.
Troopers said a man was heading north on the highway in a Nissan Titan when he tried to turn left into a rest area and he failed to yield to southbound traffic and his Nissan crashed into a southbound Honda Passport.
A passenger in the Nissan was transported to the hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Two Honda passengers sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported to the hospital.
