Phoenix, AZ – A scooter rider was killed Saturday night in a hit-and-run accident in West Phoenix, according to the authorities.
The deadly accident happened just after 7:30 p.m. on August 16 on Indian School Road at 67th Avenue.
Authorities said 59-year-old Eden Cuautli Zacatelco was riding his scooter westbound on Indian School Road when he was hit by a black truck.
Zacatelco was taken to the hospital where he later died.
The truck fled the scene after the accident.
The police are investigating the accident.
