Police said a 55-year-old woman of Pendleton was heading east on the Interstate in a white Chevy Tahoe when she slammed into the back of a semi-truck and trailer.

Pendleton, OR. – A driver was killed after a traffic collision on Tuesday evening near Pendleton, Umatilla County, according to the Oregon State Police.
The accident occurred at around 5:00 p.m. on April 21 on I-84 near milepost 207.
Police said a 55-year-old woman of Pendleton was heading east on the Interstate in a white Chevy Tahoe when she slammed into the back of a semi-truck and trailer.
The Tahoe turned hard to the right and the woman lost control on the wet pavement. The Tahoe went off the roadway and rolled over severally.
The woman was thrown out of the Tahoe. She was declared dead at the crash site.
Police believed the woman was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
