Hinsdale, IL. – A driver was injured following a traffic collision on Monday in Hinsdale, according to the Hinsdale Police Department.
The accident happened near tracks on December 8.
Police said a car was turning to cross the tracks as one of the railroad crossing arms lowered. The vehicle then sat with its front-end over the tracks before it was hit and the tracks were back into the crossing arm.
The driver sustained minor injuries due to the collision.
Several other inbound and outbound trains were delayed due to the crash.
