Police said a CTA bus was at a red light when a silver-colored SUV rear-ended it.

Chicago, IL. – A 32-year-old driver was killed after a traffic collision involving a CTA bus on Sunday morning in the Heart of Chicago neighborhood, according to the Chicago Police Department.
The accident occurred at around 4:25 a.m. on February 8, in the 2300-block of South Blue Island Avenue.
Police said a CTA bus was at a red light when a silver-colored SUV rear-ended it.
The 32-year-old SUV driver was rushed to Stroger Hospital where he died.
Five passengers were in the bus at the time of the accident. None of them was severely hurt.
Further details regarding the accident were not released.
An investigation is underway.
