Phoenix, AZ – One of the three people who were injured following a car accident at a Phoenix intersection on Wednesday has died, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The deadly crash happened at about 9 a.m. on April 30 near the intersection of 16th and Jefferson streets.
Two vehicles collided and two people became trapped in one of the vehicles.
Three people were transported to the hospital where one of them died later.
One of the vehicles was reported stolen and its driver, identified as Isaiah Sparks has since been arrested and charged with manslaughter and theft of means of transportation.
The crash remains under investigation and no additional information is available at this time.
