Police said a semi-truck driver veered off the roadway through the median and overturned on its roof.
Minooka, IL. – A driver was flown to the hospital after a semi-truck collision on Tuesday evening in Minooka, according to the Illinois State Police.
The deadly crash occurred at about 5:40 p.m. August 12, on Interstate 80, east of Ridge Road.
Police said a semi-truck driver veered off the roadway through the median and overturned on its roof.
The semi-driver suffered injuries and was flown to an area hospital.
Authorities closed down all westbound lanes and the left lane of I-80 eastbound for at least three hours following the collision.
No additional information regarding this crash was provided.
