Deputies said a vehicle and a combine collided in unclear circumstances.

Boone County, IL. – One person was flown to the hospital on Wednesday night after a vehicle collision on Wednesday night in Boone County, according to the Boone County Fire Protection District 2.
The collision happened a while before 7:30 p.m. on October 1, on Genoa Road near Cohoon Road.
Deputies said a vehicle and a combine collided in unclear circumstances.
Fire officials took around 10 to 15 minutes to free the driver who was pinned inside the vehicle.
The driver was airlifted by REACT to an area hospital.
The combine operator was not injured in the collision.
Genoa Road reopened to traffic around three hours after the crash.
An investigation is underway.
