Elkhart, IN. – Dreavin Richardson, 21, has been identified as the man who was killed in a motorcycle accident in Elkhart County on Friday night.

The accident happened just before midnight on County Road 16, west of County Road 1, according to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office.

Richardson was riding a 2003 Yamaha motorcycle when he lost control and crashed into a mailbox.

The Elkhart man was ejected and was struck by a 2020 KTM dirt bike operated by a 20-year-old man from Granger.

Richardson was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Granger man was taken to Elkhart General Hospital with minor injuries.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
