Douglas County, OR. – One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Thursday night in Douglas County.

According to the Oregon State Police, the crash occurred on Highway 138E near milepost 12 at around 11:13 p.m. on December 4, 2025.

Preliminary investigation revealed that an eastbound Chrysler 200 left the roadway for unknown reasons, became airborne, and landed in a field.

The car rolled over and caught on fire.

The driver, a 30-year-old man from Roseburg, was declared deceased at the scene.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash

Emergency responders from the Glide Volunteer Fire Department and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Oregon State Police at the scene.

The accident remains under investigation.
