Effingham County, IL. – One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Sunday morning near Dieterich in Effingham County.
According to Illinois State Police, the accident happened around 8:30 a.m. at 2300th Street and East 900th Avenue.
A 39-year-old man was driving a pickup truck when he crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a van driven by a 63-year-old woman.
The woman was killed in the accident.
