Medics pronounced the driver of the Mini Cooper dead at the scene
Demonte, IN. – A 19-year-old woman was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Monday afternoon in Demonte.
According to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened on State Road 10 at County Road 1100 West at around 12:17 p.m.
A 2006 Mini Cooper driven by a 19-year-old woman was eastbound on State Road 10 when it was rear-ended by a 2013 Ford Fusion driven by a 26-year-old from Wheatfield
The Mini Cooper was pushed into the westbound lane, where it was struck by a 2024 Ford F-150.
The Ford Fusion then continued eastbound and struck a 2019 Ford Flex.
Medics pronounced the driver of the Mini Cooper dead at the scene.
All other occupants involved were taken to the hospital for treatment and evaluation.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
