Decatur, IL. – A woman was killed in a two-vehicle collision early Saturday morning in Decatur.
According to Decatur police, the accident happened around 2:48 a.m. at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Main Street.
A Ford Focus was traveling eastbound on Grand when the driver reportedly disobeyed a red light and collided with an International truck operated by a 68-year-old Rock Island man.
The driver of the Ford, a 26-year-old Decatur woman, was transported to a local hospital, where she later died.
The three passengers in the Ford were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
