One driver was taken to Decatur County Memorial Hospital and later airlifted to IU Methodist Hospital.
Decatur County, IN. – Two people were injured in a crash involving two pickup trucks on Monday afternoon in Decatur County.
According to the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened on I-74 near mile marker 138 at around 3:21 p.m.
A pickup truck was traveling in the left lane when it drifted to the right, forcing the pickup truck pulling a camper trailer to drift to the emergency lane. The first pickup struck the camper trailer, causing the second pickup truck and the trailer to spin.
The three vehicles entered the median and struck a cable barrier, where the camper trailer overturned.
One driver was taken to Decatur County Memorial Hospital and later airlifted to IU Methodist Hospital.
The other driver was taken to Decatur Hospital with minor injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
