Deputies said the woman was driving a Harley Davidson Trike north onto University Road from route 30 when she lost control and veered into a ditch and the motorcycle rolled over.

Shabbona Township, IL. – The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a motorcycle accident that left a 29-year-old Davis Junction woman and a 67-year-old Kentucky man severely injured on Sunday afternoon in Shabbona Township.
The accident happened at about 2:18 p.m. on September 28, near the Route 30 and University Road intersection.
Deputies said the woman was driving a Harley Davidson Trike north onto University Road from Route 30 when she lost control and veered into a ditch and the motorcycle rolled over.
The man, a Hodgenville, Kentucky resident, was flown to Javon Bea Hospital in Rockford, while the woman was transported to Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb.
The two sustained severe non-life threatening injuries due to the collision.
An investigation is underway.
