Midtown, AZ – A man died on Tuesday after he was involved in a motorcycle accident earlier this month in Midtown, according to the police.

The fatal collision happened on June 7, at the intersection of Grant Road and Swan Road

Police said David Edward Verner, 68, was riding his Harley eastbound on Grant Road when he made a right turn to go southbound on Swan. He failed to yield while making the right turn and collided with a Lincoln Town Car that was turning left from westbound Grant, onto southbound Swan.

Verner was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries where he died on Tuesday, June 17.

The driver of the Town Car, a 36-year-old woman, was uninjured in the accident.

The police are investigating the accident.
