Danville, IL. – A 46-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Friday afternoon in Danville.
According to the Danville Police Department, the accident happened around 3:34 p.m. on North Gilbert Street.
The man was riding a motorcycle southbound when he failed to stop at a red light and struck the driver’s door of an eastbound Hyundai Sonata.
The man was transported to OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
