The Glencoe Public Safety officials responded to the scene. They said Weisman was crossing the tracks heading west before a southbound Metra train went through the crossing and it hit her.

Glencoe, IL. – 48-year-old Daniella Weisman was killed after a Metra train on Saturday morning in Glencoe, a North Shore Chicago suburb, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The accident happened at about 9:35 p.m. on September 6, on the Union Pacific North Metra line near Green Bay Road and Maple Hill Road.
The Glencoe Public Safety officials responded to the scene. They said Weisman was crossing the tracks heading west before a southbound Metra train went through the crossing and it hit her.
Weisman sustained multiple injuries, and she and her dog were found dead on the tracks.
All train and vehicular traffic was stopped following the collision.
The other dog ran from the crash site and has not yet been located.
No other information regarding this crash was provided.
