Yamhill County, OR – One person was killed Saturday evening in a single-vehicle accident in Yamhill County, according to the Oregon State Police.
The fatal accident happened around 7:24 p.m. on September 13 on Highway 22 near milepost 16.
Police said a 45-year-old Dallas man was driving a Dodge Ram 1500 eastbound on the highway when he failed to negotiate a curve, left the roadway, and struck a tree.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident closed the highway for about four hours.
The police are investigating the accident.
