Cordydon, IN. – A pedestrian was injured after being hit by a police cruiser on Monday afternoon in Cordydon.
According to the Indiana State Police, the accident happened around 11 p.m. on Corydon Ramsey Road near Skyway Drive.
A pedestrian was walking southbound along the fog line when he was struck from behind by a vehicle from the Corydon Police Department, which was on duty.
The 45-year-old was transported to University of Louisville Health hospital with serious injuries.
The Land Cruiser driver was not injured in the accident.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
