Clovis, N.M. – A 33-year-old man was injured after being hit by a vehicle on Wednesday night in Clovis.
According to the Clovis Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Prince Street and Texas Street at around 9 p.m.
A gray Nissan Altima was traveling southbound on Prince Street when it struck the man.
The man was transported to the Plains Regional Medical Hospital and later transferred to a hospital in Texas.
The emergency team found the man on the road suffering from apparent head trauma.
The driver stopped at the scene and contacted the officers.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
