Clovis, N.M. – One person was killed in a Saturday afternoon bicycle accident in Clovis.
According to the Clovis Police Department, the accident happened around 3:45 p.m. at the intersection of Thornton Street and Llano Estacado Boulevard.
The 31-year-old man was riding an electric bicycle in the street after being hit by a GMC pickup truck traveling south on Thornton Street.
The man was taken to Plains Medical Regional Center, where he died from his injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
