Reno, NV. – A juvenile was killed in a car crash that left two others injured in Reno on Friday night, July 4

According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the fatal collision happened around 7:15 p.m. on Pyramid Highway near the Pyramid Lake Store.

A 2008 GMC Yukon occupied by a driver as well as five juvenile passengers was traveling north on the highway when the driver lost control of the vehicle, which then veered off the highway.

Three juveniles were ejected, and one was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two of the children were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The driver was hospitalized with minor injuries.
