Bolingbrook, IL. – A 2-year-old child died after being struck by a car in Bolingbrook on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Bolingbrook Police Department, the accident happened around 2 p.m. in the 300 block of Grand Canyon Drive.
A car was backing out of a driveway when it struck a 2-year-old child.
The child was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Sadly, the child later died.
More details about the accident were not released.
