Carroll County, IN. – A 73-year-old man was killed in a car crash on Sunday afternoon in Carroll County.
According to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of State Road 18 and U.S Highway 421 at around 1:45 p.m.
A Ford pickup truck driven by a 19-year-old Frankfort man collided with a Chevrolet SUV operated by a 73-year-old Delphi man.
The Delphi woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 59-year-old female passenger of the SUV had to be extricated before being taken to Lafayette Hospital for treatment.
