Burlington, WA. – Four people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision early Wednesday morning in downtown Burlington, according to Skagit County EMS.

The collision happened around 1 a.m. on State Route 20 at East Fairhaven Avenue.

Authorities said the crash involved multiple vehicles, with at least two cars sustaining significant damage.

One white SUV was left disabled in the roadway, while a black passenger vehicle was found off the road after crashing through a fence on the opposite side.

The car accident remains under investigation, with assistance from multiple agencies, including Burlington Fire, Mount Vernon Fire, Sedro-Woolley Fire, and Skagit County Fire District 6.
