Tucson, AZ – A motorcycle rider was after colliding with a vehicle on East Broadway in Tucson on May 3, according to the Tucson Police Department.

The deadly collision happened at about 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2025, in the 7600 block of East Broadway Boulevard on May 3 and involved a Suzuki motorcycle and a GMC Terrain

Police said the GMC was heading eastbound on Broadway Boulevard trying to turn left into a business complex when the westbound motorcycle slammed into it. The posted speed limit in the area is 40 mph, and the motorcycle was driving above the limit.

According to TPD, the rider, identified as 22-year-old Brock Christopher Jackson, died at the scene.

The driver of the GMC was not injured, but a passenger was transported to the hospital as a precaution.

Authorities believe that failure to yield while making a left turn by the GMC and speeding by the rider are the contributing factors in the crash.

The crash is under investigation.
