Two occupants of the Acura were seriously injured and were transported to a local hospital for treatment
Boone County, IL. – Two people were seriously injured in a car accident on Wednesday morning in Boone County.
According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 10:30 a.m. at Caledonia Road and Illinois Route 173.
A 2015 Acura RDX was traveling north on Caledonia Road when it pulled in front of a westbound 2020 Kenworth truck on Rt. 173
Two occupants of the Acura were seriously injured and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Kenworth was unhurt.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
