Ely, NV. – 68-year-old Booker Washington has been identified as the driver who was killed in a car crash last Tuesday in Ely.
The fatal crash happened on U.S. Highway 6 near mile marker 46, according to the Nevada Department of Public Safety.
Washington was driving a white Oldsmobile Cutlass westbound when he failed to navigate the curve on the highway.
The car struck the marker post and flipped onto its roof.
Washington was killed in the accident.
More details about the accident were not released.
