Phoenix, AZ. – A bicyclist was severely injured after a hit-and-run crash on Thursday morning in Phoenix, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The accident occurred at around 5:30 a.m. on June 25, at the 27th Avenue and Lamar Road intersection, just south of Glendale Avenue.
Police said a bicyclist was hit by a vehicle for unknown reasons. The driver then fled the scene after the crash.
The patient was transported to a hospital with critical injuries.
Police did not give a description of the car involved.
