Washington County, OR – A cyclist was seriously injured on weekend in a hit-and-run accident in Washington County, according to the deputies.
The accident was reported around 7:00 a.m. on July 13 in the 22400 block of Northwest Dairy Creek Road.
Deputies said a woman was riding her bicycle when she was struck by a vehicle overnight. She spent the night alone in a ditch. She was taken to the hospital with serious leg and face injuries on Sunday morning.
The driver who hit her fled the scene.
The authorities are conducting the investigation
