Tucson, AZ. – A 76-year-old man was killed after a bicycle accident early Saturday in Tucson, according to the Tucson Police Department.

The accident happened on May 9 at Euclid Avenue and University Boulevard.

Police said the man was riding a bicycle west on University Boulevard when he was hit by a Honda Accord travelling north on Euclid Avenue at University Boulevard.

The man was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The Honda driver was not injured in the crash.

The male bicyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.

The driver reportedly did not show any symptoms of impairment.
