Police said a Ford Fiesta was heading westbound on County Road 326 when the bicyclist suddenly crossed the roadway and into the path of the car.
Marion County, FL. – A bicyclist was killed after a traffic collision early Sunday morning in Marion County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident happened on October 5 on County Road 326, about one mile west of Interstate 75.
Police said a Ford Fiesta was heading westbound on County Road 326, when for unknown reasons, the bicyclist suddenly crossed the roadway and into the path of the car.
The front of the Ford Fiesta hit the cyclist.
The bicyclist was declared dead at the crash site.
No additional information regarding this crash was provided.
