Bay County, FL. – A 60-year-old woman was killed in a car accident on Friday morning in Bay County.
According to police, the collision happened at the intersection of Highway 77 and Highway 20 near Amethyst Lane.
A silver Nissan SUV driven by an 81-year-old woman from Chipley struck a gray Toyota head-on.
The 81-year-old Chipley woman was driving a Nissan SUV west on Highway 20 when she drifted across the center line and collided head-on with a Toyota driven by a 60-year-old woman from Ebro.
The Ebro woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The SUV driver was transported to Bay Medical Center in critical condition.
