Madison County, IL. – At least one person was injured after a multi-vehicle accident on Wednesday afternoon in Madison County, according to the Illinois State Police Troop 8.
The accident happened at around 3:32 p.m. on May 20, on the southbound Interstate 255 at Gateway Commerce Drive.
Troopers said three cars crashed for reasons still under investigation.
At least one person was injured in the collision.
All southbound lanes of IL-255 were closed and traffic was diverted off southbound IL-255 at Gateway Commerce Drive.
No additional information concerning this crash was released.
