Wesley Chapel, FL. – At least one person was killed after a traffic collision late Wednesday night in Wesley Chapel, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The deadly crash happened a while before 10:30 p.m. August 6, on SR 56 near Shops Lane outside The Shops at Wiregrass.
Troopers confirmed at least one person was killed in the collision but the number of vehicles involved is yet to be released.
Traffic was blocked along a stretch of SR 56 to give way to investigation. The roadway was later reopened.
