West Valley, AZ. – At least one person was injured after a rollover collision involving a cement truck on Monday morning in West Valley, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The accident occurred on June 21 on Interstate 10 at Fairway Drive.
Officials said four vehicles crashed in unclear circumstances. A cement truck involved in the crash rolled over and fresh concrete scattered across the highway following the collision.
At least one person was hurt in the collision.
Officials closed all westbound lanes except the HOV lane about 10:00 a.m to clear the scene. Traffic was backed up on 75th Avenue to Loop 101.
The incident remains under investigation.
