Two other people sustained injuries in the accident
Arlington, WA. – One person was killed and two others were injured in a head-on collision near Arlington on Friday afternoon, according to the WSP.
The fatal accident happened around 3:59 p.m. in the 32700 block of State Route 530 Northeast, about 10 miles from Darrington.
WSP said two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other people sustained injuries in the accident.
The accident closed both directions of SR 530 at milepost 40.
WSP is investigating the accident.
