Ana Sochirca Injured in Moses Lake Multi-Vehicle Crash

Moses Lake, WA – The driver who was injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Moses Lake Monday night has been identified by the Washington State Patrol as Ana Sochirca, 39, Moses Lake.

The collision occurred at around 9 p.m. on May 5 on State Route 17.

36-year-old Jose Vasquez of Ephrata was driving along SR 17 and stopped for a disabled vehicle that was partially blocking the highway.

Jorge Solis, 58, of Othello, who was driving behind Vasquez, also slowed to a stop for vehicle one.

A driver car, identified as Ana Sochirca, 39, of Moses Lake, failed to stop on time and slammed into Solis’s car and impact pushed Solis’s car into the first vehicle.

Sochirca sustained minor injuries in the crash but was not transported to the hospital.

More information about the mishap was not provided.

An investigation is underway.
