Albuquerque, NM. – Two people were seriously injured after a semi-truck crashed off a bridge in Albuquerque on Tuesday morning.
According to the Albuquerque Police Department, the accident happened on Interstate 40 near Tramway Boulevard at around 11:17 a.m.
A truck towing a travel trailer went off the I-40 bridge and crashed onto the Tramway.
One person had to be extricated before being taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Another person was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
